The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for an Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Heavy Truck Technician (CIP 47.0613) at Baton Rouge Community College, to begin Fall 2016. By January 1, 2018, the institution will provide an update on enrollment and completion, as well as progress toward accreditation.

By January 1, 2018, the institution will provide an update on enrollment and completion, as well as progress toward accreditation; 01.08.2018: The BoR, received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent report is requested by January 1, 2019; 1.14.2019 - Institution reported that this program will be moved as a concentration into the new AAS Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Technologies(approved Sept. 2018) upon SACSCOC approval in 2019. A request for termination must be submitted by January 1, 2020; 8.28.2019 - Routine staff approval of the termination request.
