The BoR granted conditional approval for a DDes in Cultural Preservation (CIP 30.0000) on 09/22/2016, to be launched in Fall 2017.

A progress report on program implementation: implementation date, additions to the faculty, enrollment, issues, and progression; 02.21.18: The BoR accepted the progress report. A subsequent report is requested by 02.01.19; 2.27.2019 - BoR accepted the report, a subsequent report including an update on funding for student support is due 7.1.2020; 9/23/2020 - Board received and accepted the report. A subsequent report, including updates on development efforts to secure student funding, is due 7/1/2022. If the 3-year average completion rates meets minimum thresholds for doctoral programs, no further reporting will be required; 9/21/2022 - Board accepted progress report as part of Academic Planning process. Next report is due 10/1/2023; 9/20/2023 - Board received and accepted the report as part of the annual academic planning process. The program has demonstrated satisfactory progress. The next report is due October 1, 2024 or as part of the annual academic planning process due August 1, 2024. 9/24/2025 - The program has demonstrated successful progress in enrollment and completer growth. The next report for these programs will be due with the 2026 Academic Plans.
