Conditional approval

The Board of Regents granted conditional approval of the Associate of Applied Science in Helicopter Pilot Operations (CIP Code 47.0608) at Baton Rouge Community College, contingent on Legislative approval of the BoR tuition policy that allows for differential tuition for his cost programs in high demand fields. An update on program implementation, to include enrollment and completer data, shall be submitted by June 1, 2014. 06.26.2013: The Board of Regents reconsidered the AAS since it was conditionally approved in March 2013 with the provision that the differential tuition bill would be passed by the 2013 Legislature. Since passage did not occur the AAS was presented again to the Board and conditional approval was granted.

06.25.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2014 progress report. A subsequent report, providing enrollment and completer data, shall be due by June 1, 2015.
09.24.2015: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. An update on compliance with the VA's 85/15 rule and the impact that this has on the program is requested by December 1, 2015.
02.22.2016 The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is requested by December 1, 2017.
Program was approved for termination in September 2016.
