A request for continued designation as a Center of Research Excellence is due by Jaunaury 2016. 02.22.2016 The Boards of Regents granted full approval of continued designation of the Center of Research Excellence in Plant Biotechnology and Crop Development at LSU A&M University and the LSU AgCenter, with a report and proposal for continued designation as a CRE due by March 1, 2021; 8/20/2021 Staff granted reauthorization and the next request is due August 1, 2026 including an update on plans to significantly increase proposals for funding from sources such as the USDA and NSF.
