On 20 March 2013, the Board of Regents granted conditional approval of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media (CIP Code 50.0102) at Louisiana State University at Shreveport. An update on program implementation, to include enrollment and completer data for both the current BA in Fine Arts and the new BFA in Digital Media, shall be due June 1, 2014.On 4/25/2013, the Board of Regents approved the request from LSU Shreveport to correct the name of the newly approved BFA/Digial Media (CIP Code 50.0102) to BFA/Digital Arts.

An update on program implementation, to include enrollment and completer data for both the current BA in Fine Arts and the new BFA in Digital Media, shall be due June 1, 2014. 06.25.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2014 progress report. A subsequent report, providing enrollment and completer data, shall be due by June 1, 2015.
06.17.2015 The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent report is requested by June 1, 2016.
06.29.2016 - The BoR accepted the 2016 progress report and, based on program productivity, released the campus from further reporting.
