: The Board voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee to grant conditional approval for the proposed joint Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (CIP 13.0401) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Southeastern Louisiana University, effective Fall 2006. Beginning July 1, 2007, and on that date for the next two years, the two affected universities shall submit to the Commissioner of Higher Education a progress report detailing program implementation and development. Depending upon the contents of these reports, additional program requirements may be prescribed.

2007/09/27: On motion of Regent Roy, seconded by Regent Brame, the Board voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee to receive the AY 2006-2007 Progress Report from Southeastern Louisiana University and the University of Louisiana - Lafayette Relative to the Implementation of the Consortium Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. The next report shall be due to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs by August 1, 2008. 2008/08/27: The Board of Regents received the AY 2007-2008 Progress Report from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Southeastern Louisiana University relative to implementation of the consortium for a joint Ed.D. program in Educational Leadership. The next progress report shall be due July 1, 2009 2009/08/27: The Board of Regents received the AY 2008-2009 progress report from Southeastern Louisiana University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette relative to implementation of the joint Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program in Educational Leadership. As all stipulations associated with conditional approval have been fulfilled, full program approval is hereby granted. No further progress reports are deemed necessary at this time.
