: On motion of Regent Roy, seconded by Regent Brame, the Board voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee to grant conditional approval for the proposed B.S. program in Sport Management (CIP Code 310504) at Southeastern Louisiana University, effective Fall 2007. Beginning June 1, 2008, and annually until NASSM accreditation has been achieved, the University shall submit a progress report to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs addressing: 1. Adequacy of resources to sustain the program; 2. Numbers of majors and graduates; and 3. Progress toward specialized accreditation.

2008/06/26: The Board of Regents received the 2007-2008 Progress Report from Southeastern Louisiana University relative to implementation of the B.S. program in Sport Management. A subsequent progress report addressing the same issues shall be submitted to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs by June 1, 2009. 2009/06/25: The Board of Regents received the 2008-2009 Progress Report from Southeastern Louisiana University relative to implementation of the B.S. program in Sport Management. A subsequent progress report addressing the same issues shall be submitted to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs by June 1, 2010. 2010/06/24: The Board of Regents received the June 2010 progress report from Southeastern Louisiana University relative to implementation and development of the B.S. in Sport Management. By December 1, 2012, a progress report is due updating the Board on enrollment and completion figures, as well as information on the pursuit of specialized programmatic accreditation. 2013/01/23: Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by December 1, 2013. 2014/01/22: The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by December 1, 2014. 2015/01/12: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2014 progress report. A subsequent report shall be due by December 1, 2015. 2015/12/10: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is due by December 1, 2016. 2016/12/07: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2016 progress report. No further reporting is necessary based on Program productivity and movement toward COSMA accreditation.
