: The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (CIP Code 43.0104) at Louisiana State University at Alexandria, effective Fall 2008. By August 1, 2008, the University shall submit a progress report to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs which includes a full and complete budget and budget explanation for program operations which fully addresses consultants’ resource concerns. Depending on the contents of this report, additional progress reports may be required.

Conditions, Subsequent Action(s)

2008/08/27: The Board of Regents received the 2008 Program Report from Louisiana State University-Alexandria Relative to Resource Needs for the B.S. Program in Criminal Justice. Beginning August 1, 2009, and on that date thereafter until otherwise directed, the University shall report to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs numbers of enrollees, graduates, and the placement of these graduates. 2009/08/27: By January 1, 2010, LSU-A shall submit an interim progress report to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs addressing the hiring of a third FTE faculty member in time for Spring semester, 2010 and updating recruitment efforts for a fourth FTE full-time faculty to be employed by Fall, 2010. 2010/02/25: The next report, updating faculty staffing, enrollment, completers (including projections), and placement information for graduates is due by September 1, 2010. 2010/10/27 September 2010 progress report received. Full program approval granted. No further reporting is necessary at this time.
