The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the proposed Associate of Applied Science in the Care and Development of Young Children (CIP Code 190709) at Bossier Parish Community College, subject to the following stipulations: 1. By August 1, 2008, a progress report documenting hiring of an appropriately credentialed full time program coordinator shall be due to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs. If all is in order, program implementation will be authorized. 2. By August 1, 2009, and annually until NAEYC accreditation has been achieved, a progress report addressing student numbers and graduates, hiring of additional adjunct faculty, and progress toward NAEYC accreditation shall be due to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs.

By August 1, 2009 and annualy until NAEYC accreditation has been achieved, a progress report addressing student numbers and graduates, hiring of adjunct faculty, and progress toward accreditation shall be submitted. 01.22.2009: The Board of Regents received the 2008 progress report and requested that a subsequent report be submitted by August 1, 2009. 09.24.2009: The Board of Regents accepted the 2009 progress report and requested a subsequent report by August 1, 2010. 08.25.2010: The Board of Regents accepted the 2010 progress report and requested a subsequent report by December 1, 2011 specific to enrollment and completers as well as progress made toward specialized accreditation. 01.25.2012: The Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report and requested a subsequent progress report by December 1, 2012. 06.26.2012: The Board of Regents accepted the progress report and requested a subsequent report on the previous items noted by August 1, 2014.
08.27.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent report on program implementation and enrollment and completer data is requested by August 1, 2015.
08.26.2015: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. No further reporting is necessary.
