Condition Text: 2008/08/27: The Board of Regents authorized implementation of the B.S. program in Mathematics (CIP Code 27.0101) at Southern University-New Orleans, effective Fall, 2008. Beginning September 1, 2009, and annually on that date until otherwise directed, the University shall report to the Associate Commissioner of Academic Affairs the following data: a. Numbers of program enrollees and completers; b. Placement of program graduates; c. Faculty and support personnel numbers; and d. Annual program budget. 2009/10/22: The Board of Regents received the October 2009 progress report from Southern University at New Orleans relative to implementation and development of the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program in Mathematics. By September 1, 2010, the University shall submit to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs a subsequent progress report addressing: a. Number of program enrollees as compared to projections in the original proposal; b. Numbers of program graduates (if any) as compared to projections in the original proposal and the placement of these graduates; and c. Adequacy of program faculty/staffing. 2010/10/27 progress report received by the Board of Regents. The University shall submit a subsequent progress report by September 1, 2011 addressing: (1) number of enrollees; (2) number of program graduates and (3) placement of graduates. 2011/10/26 The Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report. A subsequent progress report is due no later than September 1, 2012, updating the Board on that which was previously requested. 2012/10/24: The Board of Regents received the 2012 progreaa report. A subsequent report shall be due by September 1, 2013. 2013/09/26: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2013 progress report. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by September 1, 2014. 2014/10/22: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2014 progress report. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by October 1, 2015. 2015/12/10: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is due by December 1, 2016. 2017/01/09: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is due by December 1, 2017. 1/8/2018: The BoR received and accepted the progress report; no additional reporting is required.
