: The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the Associate of Applied Science program in Criminal Justice (CIP Code 43.0104) at LTC-Florida Parishes Campus. Implementation of the program shall be delayed until staff is provided evidence of successful hiring of a full-time instructor to coordinate the program. Beginning September 1, 2009, and annually on that date until otherwise indicated, a report shall be due to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs addressing the following: 1. Adequacy of faculty and other resources; 2. Numbers of students and graduate; 3. Placement of graduates; and 4. Status of dual enrollment of secondary students in the program.2009/09/24: The Board of Regents received the AY 2008-09 progress report relative to the implementation and development of the A.A.S. in Criminal Justice at LTC-Florida Parishes. The next report, as required in the initial Board action, shall be due August 1, 2010. The staff will investigate further the possibilities for development of a 2+2 articulation agreement between respective Criminal Justice degrees at LTC-Florida Parishes and Southeastern Louisiana University.

Conditions, Subsequent Action(s)

2010/10/27 Board of Regents accepted the August 2010 progress report. A progress report is due by August 1, 2011 in which the following should be addressed: enrollments, number of graduates, and placement of graduates. 2011/09/22: Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report. Based on the growth in enrollment and the number of completers no further reporting is necessary. Full program approval granted.
