Action Text: The Board of Regents granted approval for the request from Nicholls State University to: 1. Separate the Department of History and Social Sciences into Two Separate Departments: the Department of History and Geography and the Department of Government and Social Sciences; and 2. Separation of the School of Fine Arts into Two Separate Departments: the Department of Art and the Department of Music In accordance with the University’s request, these changes shall be effective July 1, 2009.
