Request: 2009 LOW-COMPLETER REVIEW -- CONDITIONALLY MAINTAINED PROGRAMS (CM)

Board Action: Approval

Action Text: The Board of Regents approved staff recommendations relative to 168 select low-completer programs and 1 non low-completer program, including the termination of 87 of these programs (see Appendix A). The Board also authorized staff to proceed with planning for the review of select closely-related duplicated programs (see Appendix B). Affected system and campuses shall proceed with actions required of these recommendations forthwith (see Appendix C). By December 1, 2009, the staff will update the Committee and Board on the most recent completer numbers for programs that have been recommended as conditionally maintained.1) Ph.D. - Cognitive Science 2) B.S. - Geology 3) M.S. - Physics 4) B.S. - Dental Hygiene 5) B.S.B.A. - Professional Land Management.
