The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the proposed A.A.S. in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (CIP 470201) at Louisiana Technical College - Delta Ouachita Campus, effective immediately. By January 31, 2010, and annually on that date until accreditation by ATMAE has been awarded to the program, a report shall be due to the Associate Commissioner addressing: a. Numbers of students enrolled in the AAS and Technical Diploma programs; b. Numbers and placement of graduates; c. Make-up and meeting agenda of an advisory board for the program; d. Information on eligibility of associate level programs in ACR for ATMAE accreditation.

The next progress report addressing issues listed in the staff analysis is due by January 1, 2011.
02.23.2011: The Board of Regents accepted the January 2011 progress report. A subsequent report is due by January 1, 2012 addressing progress toward accreditation, enrollment and completer numbers and placement of graduates. 2012/02/28 Board of Regents received the 2012 progress report and granted full approval of the program. No further reporting is needed.
