Condition Text: Beginning August 1, 2010, and annually on that date during the period of approval, the University shall submit to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs, a report detailing the Center's current budget, including amounts/sources of expenditures and revenues. The contents of this report will be assessed to determine whether further staff review is needed in the future. Further, prior to the final date of Center approval, the institution shall submit to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs a request for reauthorization of center status. Should such request not be received by the aforementioned date, then the Board of Regents shall re-examine the continuing need for this unit. 2013/08/21: The Board of Regents granted full reauthorization of the Center for a period of five years, effective immediately. A request for reauthorization shall be submitted by the campus prior to June 30, 2018; Continued authorization of the Center, along with approval to change the name from the Greater New Orleans Center for Information Assurance (GNOCIA) to the University of New Orleans Cyber Center (UNOCC) was approved on September 26, 2018. A request for reauthorization is due by July 1, 2023.
