Condition Text: By no later than December 1, 2010, the Ag Center shall submit to the Associate Commissioner for Academic Affairs a proposal for full approval (using Form B) that will reflect predominant, external funding to afford Institute operations. Included in the proposal should be documentation that an advisory board has been appointed. Should such a request by not be received by the aforementioned date, the Regents shall re-examine the need for this unit. 01.26.2011: Request for full five-year approval granted. A request for reauthorization is due no later than December 1, 2015. 03.23.2016: Request for reauthorization was received in January 2016 and considered by the Regents at the March meeting. Full approval was granted, with a request for reauthorization due by March 1, 2021; 8/20/2021 Staff granted reauthorization and the next request is due August 1, 2026 including an update on plans to increase external grant funding and partnerships with business and industry.
