By July 1, 2010, Region 9 shall submit a progress report on the JI program, suggesting appropriate benchmarks for gauging the effectiveness of the program, including: 1. Numbers of enrollees and graduates; 2. Placement of graduates/pay rates and comparison to other journeymen; 3. Employer satisfaction data; 4. Composition and activities of the advisory board(s). Depending upon the content of the abovementioned report, additional reports may be required.
2010/10/27 Board of Regents accepted the July 2010 progress report. By July 1, 2011, a progress report on the JI program is due. The report should provide an update on enrollments, completers, activities of the advisory board, and employer satisfaction data. 2011/09/22: Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report. An annual progress report is due by July 1, 2012 addressing all items previously identified.

2013.08.21: Board of Regents accepted the 2013 progress report. A subsequent report shall be submitted by July 1, 2014.
08.27.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent progress report is requested by June 1, 2015.
08.26.2015: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is requested by June 1, 2016.
09.22.2016 - the BoR received and accepted the progress report, requesting a subsequent report by 06.01.2017, if the program is maintained.
09.27.17: There have been 0 graduates of the AAS. The campus intends to close this program, once COE reaffirmation is approved next month. All courses in this program will move to non-credit. Campus has begun the process of terminating the program. Terminate the program upon receipt of the formal request, or report on delay by 01.01.2018
02.21.18: BoR granted approval to terminate the program upon receipt of the formal request.
June 2018: Request forwarded by LCTCS led to termination of AAS Journeyman Industrial and a number of other dormant programs at NTCC.
