: The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the Associate of Applied Science in Oil and Gas Production Technology (CIP Code 15.0903) at Bossier Parish Community College. Program implementation is contingent upon hiring of an appropriately credentialed program director. By August 1, 2010, and annually on that date until ATMAE accreditation has been achieved, a progress report is due addressing: 1. Adequacy of personnel for the program; 2. Adequacy of resources for the program; 3. Number of enrollees and graduates including placement information for graduates; 4. Activities of the OGT Advisory Council; and 5. Progress toward ATMAE accreditation.

Conditions, Subsequent Action(s)

By August 1, 2011, and annually on that date until ATMAE accreditation has been achieved, a progress report is due addressing: 1. Adequacy of personnel for the program; 2. Adequacy of resources for the program; 3. Number of enrollees and graduates including placement information for graduates; 4. Activities of the OGT Advisory Council; and 5. Progress toward ATMAE accreditation. 2011/09/22: Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report. An annual progress report is due by August 1, 2012 addressing all items previously noted. 2012/08/22: Board of Regents received the 2012 progress report. An update on specialized accreditation is requested by December 1, 2012. Should ATMAE accreditation be achieved as expected (and documented)no further reporting will be necessary. 06.26.2013: The Board of Regents received the progress report submitted by the campus on May 29, 2013. Full approval was gratned to the program due to the steady increase in completers and due to specialized accreditation being achieved.
