: The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the Ph.D. in Community Health Sciences (CIP Code 51.2208) at the LSU Health Sciences Center at New Orleans, effective immediately. By August 1, 2011, and annually on that date until accreditation by CEPH has been achieved, a progress report is due addressing: 1. Adequacy of funds to support graduate assistantships in the program; 2. Numbers of full and part-time students enrolled, plus information on placement of program graduates, as appropriate; 3. Documentation of utilization of distance delivery to make courses in the program available to part-time students at remote locations; 4. Extramural funding awards per faculty in CHS; and 5. Progress toward CEPH accreditation.

Progress toward CEPH accreditation. 03/21/2012 The Board of Regents accepted the 2011 progress report. The next progress report shall be due on August 1, 2012 addressing the four areas previously noted. 2012/10/24: The Board of Regents received the 2012 progress report. A subsequent report shall be due by September 1, 2013. 2013.08.21: The Board of Regents received the 2013 progress report. An update on the status of accreditation is requested by December 1, 2013. 2014.01.22: The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. While accreditation has been achieved, additional reporting is requested on student progression in the program. By December 1, 2014, the institution is to provide an update on student enrollment and progression toward degree completion. 02.23.2015 The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report provided by the campus. No further reporting is necessary since CEPH accreditation has been achieved.
