Conditional approval

The Board of Regents granted conditional approval for the Associate of Science (A.S.) in Engineering (CIP Code 140101) at Bossier Parish Community College. On March 1, 2012 the college will update the Board on the following (1) enrollment and completion data and (2) transfers to baccalaureate engineering programs. When a statewide curriculym for an AS/Louisiana Transfer degree concentration in Engineering is established, the A.S. in Engineering may be considered.

On March 1, 2012 the college will update the Board on the following: (1) enrollment and completion data and (2) transfers to baccalaureate engineering programs.
03/21/2012 The Board of Regents accepted the 2012 progress report. A subsequent report will be due by March 1, 2013 addressing the two areas previously noted. 03.20.2013: The Board of Regents accepted the progress report submitted by the campus in February 2013. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by March 1, 2014.
05.21.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2014 progress report. A subsequent report on enrollment and completer data shall be due by May 1, 2015.
05.27.2015 The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. Full approval was granted to the program with no further reporting necessary.
