The Board of Regents granted conditional approval of the Certificate of Applied Science in Medical Coding Specialist (CIP Code 51.0707) at Southern University at Shreveport. By July 1, 2012 an update on enrollment and compleiton numbers, as well as on progress toward accreditation, is to be submitted to the Board of Regents.

An update on enrollment and completion numbers, as well as on progress toward accreditation, is due to the Board of Regents by July 1, 2012.
2012/08/22: Board of Regents received the 2012 progress report.
The next annual report is due by July 1, 2013. The institution is asked to report on all areas previously noted.
2013/09/26: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2013 progress report. A subsequent report addressing all previous items shall be due by July 1, 2014.
08.27.2014: The Board of Regents received and accepted the progress report. A subsequent progress report is requested by June 1, 2015.
08.26.2015: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is due by June 1, 2016.
06.29.2016: The BoR received and accepted the 2016 progress report and, based on program productivity, released the campus from further reporting.
