Request: Creation of the College of Human Sciences and Education

Board Action: Approval

Action Text: The Board of Regents approved LSU's request to create the College of Human Sciences and Education by realigning existing units with complementary missions. The new unit will have six major units to include: (1) School of Education, (2) School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development, (3) School of Kinesiology, (4) University Laboratory School, (5) School of Library & Information Science, and (6) School of Social Work.
