Request: Reorganize basic sciences departments in the School of Medicine by merging existing units. Merge the Department of Genetics with the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Parasitology to create the Department of Microbiology, Genetics, and Immunology; and merge the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with the Department of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics to create the Department of Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Experimental Therapeutics.
