The Board of Regents granted conditional approval of the Certificate of Applied Science in Sterile Processing Technician (CIP Code 51.1012). By September 30, 2013, the campus will update the Board on program implementation, to include relevant enrollment and completer/progression data.The Board of Regents granted approval for SUSLA to change the name of the degree designation from a Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) in Sterile Processing Technology (CIP 51.1012) to a Certificate of Technical Studies.

By September 30, 2013, the campus will update the Board on program implementation, to include relevant enrollment and completer/progression data. 12.05.2013 - The Board of Regents received the 2013 progress report. A subsequent report is due by September 30, 2014. The campus provided an update on the program as well as a request to redesignate the CAS to a CTS with this request being approved by the Board of Regents on January 12, 2015. The progress report was received as well. A subsequent report shall be due by December 1, 2015.
01.06.2016: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is requested by December 1, 2016.
01.09.16: The Board of Regents received and accepted the 2015 progress report. A subsequent report is requested by December 1, 2017.
02.21.08: Receive and accept the progress report. No further reporting is necessary
