9.25.2019 - Board approved the request from McNeese to establish a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) Nursing. Program approval is contingent on SACSCOC approval of institutional level change to offer doctoral degrees and Louisiana Board of Nursing approval. A progress report with updates on necessary approvals and plans for program implementation is due July 1, 2020.

A subsequent report, including an update on the SACSCOC substantive change process and CCNE accreditation, is due 7/1/2023; 9/20/2023 - Board received and accepted the report as part of the annual academic planning process.
